The 8 tracks will appeal to the senses and bring the 70’s alive with sights and sounds. They will entertain and take you back to the time of their lives and hopefully, yours as well. Get ready to enjoy this great group kicking off the Phillips Main Stage at 11 am until 1 pm. You will do a double take when they get into character!Band members include: Jeff Borgman , guitar and vocals;  Jim Dale, bass and vocals; David Hospodka, guitar and vocals;  Scott Ray, drums and vocals;  Kyle Short, lead vocals, percussion, keys, etc.;  Greg Todora, keyboards and vocals.

Southern Rains  Earlier this year Vance Harsch and a group of friends decided they would do a show together in Giddings, TX. An Opry called “Country Music Monday”. The group chose some individual songs, duets and some songs that the whole group would do together.

The name of “Southern Rains” was chosen for the group and they have been performing shows together since April 2007. The combined experience of (PHOTO RIGHT L to R) includes: Vance Harsch, Vicki Gatling, James Gregory and comedian Bill (Bubba) Goodman makes the show a sure delight no matter the venue.

“Southern Rains” will open the Country Day on the Hill “Hometown Talent Stage”  sponsored by David’s Seafood from 11 am until noon. They will then perform on the Phillips Main Stage from 1 pm until 2 pm. Be sure to join this wonderful group October 13, 2007 in two locations.

The Darrell May Band will take the Phillips Main Stage from 2 until 4 pm with their beautiful faith based music. This group of Christian guys met and began playing together in service to their local church body. Darrell, a Cedar Hill resident has written songs for years and now is blessed to get to play them flavored with the unique talents of his brothers, “Big” John, “Little” John and Bruce.

This great band was a huge hit at their concert at Valley Ridge Amphitheater and the "Angela Trevino Benefit.

Billy Cate & The Chisholm Trail Cowboys are an authentic cowboy group for today that sing harmonies made famous by The Sons of the Pioneers and The Riders of the Purple Sage. They are dedicated to the preservation and cultivation of cowboy songs and cowboy poetry. They help relive the story of the Old West through music that is timeless.

Members include Billy Cate on guitar, Mark Abbott on bass and Bob Boatright on fiddle. “The Chisholm Trail Cowboys” will perform on the Phillips Main Stage from 4 until 6 pm on Saturday October 13 at the 70th annual Country Day on the Hill.
