on the Hill”

The Cedar Hill Police Department has assigned all public parking for Country Day on the Hill Saturday, October 11 to the Cedar Hill High School parking lot. This location is at Hwy 67 and Cooper Street. Free shuttle service will be provided from 8:30am until 7pm. Look for the red Country Day shuttle tents.

Both northbound and southbound off ramps of US 67 at Cooper, along with the Southbound frontage road from Beltline will be closed at 10:00am until the completion of the parade. The traffic from the northbound frontage road from Tidwell will not be allowed to proceed thru the intersection of Cooper, but will be allowed to pull into the High School parking lot for Country Day parking.

There will be “NO PARKING” signs posted through out the Downtown area and the Police will be ticketing and towing violators. The Friends of Country Day, the city of Cedar Hill and the Cedar Hill Police Department encourage everyone attending on Saturday to use the free parking and shuttle service from the High School.

The Shuttle stations will be located at the High School on Longhorn Blvd. and at the Hughes Funeral Home & Chapel on Cedar & Church Streets. All of the Handicap Parking is at the Hughes Funeral Home location and is manned by the American Legion Post 111. All vendor parking is assigned to Bray Elementary School on Roberts Street, north of Beltline Rd with free shuttle service by Hughes Funeral Home to the Downtown Square.
